Passed away peacefully on 8th November 2020
aged 29 years.
Sadly missed by his mum, his family and all his friends.

With his love of crafts and gaming to his dedication to acting and charity work, Charles had a wide and varied love of adventure and life.

Things you may never have known about Charles
Before Charles developed Epilepsy, he was a gifted mathematician. He could complete 1000-piece jigsaws when he was just five years old.
He was an excellent swimmer and he loved Monopoly. He would dress up in fancy dress at any given opportunity.
He served as a crew member on the Stavros S Niarchos.
In his role as Argos Charity rep, Charles raised over £3000 for Macmillan, including having his head shaved for charity, a year before he developed leukaemia. He completed a 50ft abseil at night for charity.
He volunteered at Paignton Swimming club for 3 years, qualifying as an assistant swimming teacher. He was a volunteer at Brixham Battery Museum.
He had key roles in local plays directed by John Fabian, (BBC producer and director).
He was short-listed for a role in Alice in Wonderland (Tim Burton)
He was an active member of South Devon Players for many years.
Charles loved Live action Role Play.
He loved playing Dungeons and Dragons. Charles learned to knit after his first stem cell transplant and knitted a scarf for every member of staff in Birch Ward, Derriford.
This summer he taught himself to read knitting patterns and made all sort of animals as well as a complete nativity scene for his brother Ken.
He developed a love of gardening growing pepper plants and a lemon tree from seed from the kitchen.
He was an artist, painting in acrylics.
He taught himself to carve wood.
Charles loved leatherworking.
Charles loved Gaming.
He loved working at Argos.
He was an avid science fiction fan, especially loving Marvel & DC

This marks a very special time when Charles' brother Ken donated his stem cells which saved Charles' life and gave his family all the special times they have had since.

Haytor, or as Charles called it, Bigfoot!
There are many special places that Charles loved and Haytor or "Bigfoot" is one of them. He also adored Kents Cavern and it was one place he always wanted to visit whenever he could.

The must watch film for Christmas. Charles watched this film every year so it seemed appropriate to share just a snippet of this well loved Christmas classic with love from Charles to you all.
