THE FIRST EVER
In 2023 we proudly became the first funeral service to ever be awarded the prestigious ERS Gold Award from the Ministry of Defence for our commitment to the Armed Forces Community.
"We are delighted to announce that 17 South West employers have been recognised for their outstanding support to Defence by being awarded the the prestigious Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award.
Achieving this award is a huge achievement for these organisations who have gone out of their way to use their audiences to advocate for members of the Armed Forces community."

In 2023 there were 247 strong nominations for the Gold Award across the UK. All had to be passed through various panels and pass on to senior judges headed by senior members of the military before the final award were granted by the Ministry of Defence.
In total only 193 businesses were awarded Gold across the UK. These business ranged from NHS Trusts, County Councils, defence suppliers to smaller businesses like ourselves.
We use this honour to further spread the word of the Armed Forces Covenant and promote it within our industry when veterans and reservists unique skills are so revered.
